Opening day is finally here. Volquez looked terrible in the Spring. Specifically, he could not find the strike zone. It is so hard to tell in the spring how pitchers are going to do. I am hoping that he was just trying to get his arm lose and protect it by not throwing the best breaking stuff so early. However, he did not want to sign his long term deal yet.
