Taking the day off. This is just embarrassing. I'm not even close with these games.

Bob, once you research and select your plays...it's up to the players to perform over/at/under their form...

Eg. you cap the single-zero roulette at to show a "Black" at 18/37 = 48.64% (ie. at implied "break even" decimal odds of 2.055921 or american odds of +105.5921)...you see there's an edge cuz books are "mistakenly" (perhaps to offset a public fascination with "32red") offering the Black-play at +107. You correctly call our attention to the edge for us to exploit...

Now if Red comes up...you didn't screw up in any way...there was an edge...and whatever happened this time, the next time you see Black (or, in this example, Red as well) offered at +106 or above...you should do/advise just as you did. Over time it is the correct (ie. +EV) play.

Keep capping just as you always do, BL. You cap, the players play (ie. the real world "spins").

BTW, here's something I just posted to snapperman...

"You, and BL, rule, without all the shit-slinging that inevitably infects almost all other season-long threads."

I appreciate the positive feedback, I really do. There's forums out there that will rip you for losing picks and it makes me or anybody not want to post again.

I'm not usually cocky in anything I do. But I know this game inside and out and I know what to do when betting on it. I will win in spring training every year guaranteed and I should win in the regular season. I'm just going through a terrible bad losing streak right now but I know I'll pull out of it and go on a great winning streak. Maybe it's just the interleague messing me up, I don't know. But I'll be posting winners shortly. It's a long season.

FYI, it's 7 o'clock in the morning right now and I'm ice cold on my picks. I have no other choice but to take Monday off as well.

Haha. I tried to get a buddy into AD tonight but he wasn't having any of it. His loss. The show isn't for the average viewer. Every 2 minutes I had to tell him he doesn't understand this joke or he completely missed the joke but it probably pissed him off more than anything.

                  he's made a huge mistake.

it's one of those shows, it was simply too good for mainstream acceptance in its time. like Pavement or the Wire or Wes Anderson movies or Big Lebowski, you can't sell it to someone who doesn't already appreciate it. gets better every time i watch it. own the dvds, but still watch whenever it's on IFC. i wish i had some Boyfights dvds or perhaps some Girls With Low Self-Esteem.... time to go put on my dress jean shorts and create a playlist with a continuous loop of the Final Countdown for when company arrives later.

u guyz have good taste...best two American-TV dramas made in last few decades, imnsho...are things which i think u'd appreciate and u just may have missed them..."6 Feet Under" (start to finish, 60 great episodes with a brilliant finale) and "Deadwood"...both miles more substantial than the overrated sopranos ("Carnivale" and "Rome" deserve "honorable mention" in the same breath)

You're right though, you just can't sell it. They are too stubborn. They think they understand but they have no idea in reality and they don't want to try to understand it. I can't believe how many times in an episode last night I said...that's a joke....that's a joke from a previous episode....that's a joke from an upcoming episode...etc. Annoyed him for sure but he didn't care to try and understand the jokes I was talking about.

Cool. I'll check I'm out if I see them but I watch 99% comedy and sports. I think the only dramas I've ever watched are Sopranos and Friday Night Lights.

true, true. the weaving of jokes through episodes, the way that story lines are woven through long-term like in the Wire or the Sopranos or the Shield, is pure gold if you put the time in, but to the casual viewer, it apparently doesn't work. their loss, i say. BOL with your play tonight, Loblaw.
