Mlb regular season thread- lets go!

I have never been more excited about the start of baseball season..... Opening Day is just around the corner

Lets put our heads together and come up with the best plays for Thursday and Friday and even looking ahead to Saturday and Sunday...... Lets see if we can come up with some winner and do our bank accounts a favor!

Here is what I'm leaning towards...

Thursday
St Louis/Carpenter ML vs Padres/Stauffer


Friday
Phillies/Halladay ML vs Astros/Myers
Rockies/Jimenez ML vs D-Backs/Kennedy

Sunday
I love these pitching matchups
*Hudson/Braves ML @Washington/who cares
*Garza/Cubs ML vs Pittsburgh/who cares

Now opening day is just 3 days away... it's not too early to start looking at match-ups... I figure the first couple of days you can find some favorites that will win b/c of their Aces on the hill and then as we get into next week start looking for the underdogs and getting +money on the ML .....

it is here no doubt. but you like those high priced games on opening day and history will show you that some of those pitchers only go 5-6 innings this time of year. just too risky to blow your bankroll on opening weekend. the pro's don't make a bet until each starter has 3 under his belt. so waiting 2 weeks and observing is the way to start the season.

son you crazy... I went 5-0 on opening day last year. Opening week is where it's at. And if you think Roy Halladay only pitches 5 or 6 innings you are insane! Doc Halladay going the distance for a shutout

Has anyone seen Jimenez or Kennedy pitch lately?? Can I get a scouting report.

Halladay has been lights out in spring training and Myers has been hit hard. Myers is a good pitcher but Halladay is a hall of famer

I'd like to sit out a couple weeks and get some data but I feel like I'll have to bet a little the first couple weeks to keep track of how teams are doing

anyone not scared to share what they see for the opening day games....??? I see a lot of people on here making picks about spring training practice games but the real deal is coming Thursday and Friday???

You got balls to be betting on Houston. I would say GL but I will be on Phillies for a pretty good chunk
