yea he only have 5 blown saves now compared to his 9 saves. Great f-in numbers you ass making 10 mil to suck balls!!! Wish these guys would go beat his ass for blowing all their hard work to win these games and him blowing it in 1 damn inning.

My fav is how they will never f-in pull him. Guy gives up 2 hits and a walk, and gotta let him work through it right? Cant wait till they miss playoffs by few games they can look back and blame this idoit.

2nd damn time this week these shitty so called " closers" blow the game for me with 2 run leads, such a joke. Is 3 outs that damn hard?

He should be fired. But they won't fire him since they think he's cute.

I am not going to complain with the results since I had HOU, but as a general Brewers fan, the question is when is Ned Yost going to learn? How many times can he keep going with him in these type of situations. The guy has blown 5 saves already and it is only May 3rd. MIL is fortunate to have won 3 of his blown saves. The guy clearly has little command any more with his best pitches, shakey confidence, and hasn't shown he can get the big outs when needed. He's costing MIL a lot in terms of payroll but also possibly the division and the postseason. The N.L. Central is very weak right now. STL will slow down soon and CHC is at best an 85 win team.

The Brewers made a big mistake by signing Gagne to a long term deal deal and electing not to resign Cordero. This is a move that will haunt them for some time I suspect.

yeah i used houston in the "dog contest" and i was on the phone with a friend of mine when i went online to check some scores and saw that houston was down 6-4 in the bottom of the ninth and i told my buddy that i honestly felt that id rather have houston than milwaukee at that point. what the hell happened to gagne?!!? once one of the most unhittable closers .... all of a sudden he's really not even mediocre. if he's not walking you he's serving up hanging breaking balls for dinner. its amazing how bad he is now. with milwaukee's lineup and starting pitching they could really contend this year, but as long as gagne is their closer they wont even sniff the postseason, and they cant trade him because who wants to pay 10 mil for that shmuck? obviously i got real lucky to win that one, but we all knew going into it that gagne in the ninth was one of houston's best offensive weapons. i really expected more out of sampson and less out of sheets who is 1-7 in his last 8 decisions vs houston. baseball is whacked. the role of closer is almost useless. most are just overpaid primadonnas anyway. how many times have you seen maddux mow down the field thru 8 innings only to see hoffman come in and give up a 450 foot homer to benji molina. i never could understand why a manager would pull a starter who is in cruise control in favor of a "closer" who hasn't thrown a pitch yet. if you have a guy who is actually a real closer then you should use him at ANY point in the game when a lead needs to be protected. why no bring in your closer in the 7th if you are up 5-3 and there are bases loaded with one out. why bring in some lesser pitcher? to blow the lead and then the closer never even sees any action?? bring in the closer early.... then use your "middle relief guy" for the 8th or ninth when you still have a lead and theres no one on base. doesnt that philosophy make so much more sense? a closer should be used in any inning that you cant afford to give up a run... not just to retire the side in the ninth. and NEVER pull a starter who is rolling in favor of anyone else. thats just plain stupid.

Someone help me out here but I believe that Gagne had blown a total of 11 saves in his entire career and has already blown 5 saves this year. Gives you an idea that the guy just doesn't have it anymore.
