Input on what amount to start a labby line at
Me and a friend have researched some trends, ran some numbers, and came up with these results (top numbers in each category are at 2002 and go in order to 2010):

    w
    723
    698
    711
    658
    716
    603
    667
    634
    649

    l
    590
    613
    587
    598
    609
    612
    559
    593
    607

    %
    55.06
    53.24
    54.78
    52.39
    54.04
    49.63
    54.04
    51.67
    51.67

It is a pretty big sample, hitting at 6059-5368 over the past 9 seasons (53.34% total over the years).

We will be starting small since we are not entirely certain how the labby will work live and in real time, but given the numbers we do feel like it will work with good money management. What we are looking for is a good number to start the lines at.

We will be starting with either $600 or $800 of our accounts to test this all out. Just unsure of where to start a line at due to juice that we are certainly going to encounter.

The discussion between us so far has been anywhere from a line of 2's to a line of 6's.

To help in this discussion, the premise of this labby is to follow teams once they hit a 3 game winning streak, fade a team once they hit a 3 game losing streak. When a new streak for teams start, those will start/continue a labby line based on which has the lowest juice or highest plus number. Whichever open line is the longest at that time is where the least juice/highest plus number would start.

Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated

With a bankroll of 800 $ I would start with a 6-6-6-6 line. Meaning betting to win 3% of your bankroll. Maybe less if you are planning to have multiple lines running at the same time.

GL with your system. I use a 4# line and after a loss, I add that money plus the remaining
line and divide by 4. That will be your new line. You will always be 2 wins away from
        clearing your line.

I lost my ass last year playing baseball. This year, I'm taking two winning teams from
last year and doing 4# lines with them. I'm starting in preseason. I cleared 2 lines and
1/2 of another so far. Just bet your team, simple.

It doesn't make for stimulating forum discussions, but it will get the job done.
