Col/SF total off??

I begin by stating I'm terrible on betting totals. But this one really seems off....

Colorado at San Francisco, 7.5

I think the 7s and 7.5s are best reserved for the Peavys and Webbs of the world, but Morales and Cain? Morales has an ERA of 6.00, while Cain sits at 5.27. They have combined to walk 30 batters in 48 innings, and the Giants bullpen is terrible.
As well, Colorado has gone over in six of their last seven, while San Francisco has actually won three of four against lefties.
Seems like the over 7.5 is a given, which means a 3-1 final...

Played this game well over 7.5 and also have a first 5 innings opinion as well.

This game may seem a little misleading especially since A T & T park represents for the most part a pitchers' ballpark. However, you can throw that tradition away this evening as Franklin Morales (1-1 6.00) takes to the hill for the Rocks who come off a sweep at the hands of the Dodgers. Colorado's 4.67 staff ERA is better than only Pittsburgh's among NL clubs. The 22-year-old left-hander allowed three runs in six innings to the Chicago Cubs on Wednesday and was in line for the win, but the Rockies' bullpen blew a two-run lead en route to a 7-6 loss. Morales has been lit up over his last 15 innings giving up 14 ER (8.40) despite a win, a loss and a no decision covering 3 starts. The Giants have played better since their abysmal 1-6 start going 10-9 since. They counter with Matt Cain (0-2, 5.27), who will search for his first win of the season. Cain has suffered through 2 no decisions and a loss over his last 3 stints, giving up 12 ER over his last 16 IP (6.75). He could use the run support, and this is the perfect time for his mates to break out of their hitting woes this season, where SF hits just .241 as a team. The Rocks will also have to provide Morales some much needed offense, and hitters like Garrett Adkins (.324 6 20) and 2007 MVP candidate Matt Holiday (.313 4 14) can merge in big inning situations aiding the number all by their lonesome. Let's take advantage of the premium like total early and look for both teams to contribute offensively. Best of luck however you play.
