#1892Originally posted by jpeterbI for one think Wallco should keep his Wallco MLB PLU$$$ 2011 system posts in the current thread. I'm following both, tracking JM as Hagball is, and until now playing both systems. My problem is I'm running multiple systems and the opposing bets do come up now and again.
Today i'm very conflicted with the two aforementioned systems and a dog system that has been working well for me that is also in conflict with Wallco MLB PLU$$$.
What to do...
if it's the same dog system i used last season (the stoffos approach), take your winnings from the first month and run, b/c it will only eat away at your profits.Comment -

#1894There is a backtest somewhere in this thread back to the 2005 season. If anyone ever locates it, please remind me where it is.Originally posted by SportsTerminatorDoes anyone know Wallco MLB PLU$$$system record from last season? ...How many losses?
2010: 230-11 (Net profit = +164 units)
I was very conservative when doing backtest. Many of the lines were based on 20 cent lines, most of us are playing dime lines, so profits would be higher. Also for runline wins, I subtracted a few points from the lines on our wins, thus our profit # would be higher than I credited us for. I would rather show lower numbers and do better, than show large net profits then never again achieve them. There is realistically another 8-12 units in profit that wasn't accounted for, even in the bad season, it was bad, but I think the actual played lines would have made our figures a little better.Comment -

#1896I've noticed that it is not necessarily the number of losses that determines our profit in this SYSTEM, though obviously they do play a big part, but rather the # of (C) and (D) bet wins on +money bets that decide our outcome. The larger winning seasons had more of these, and the losses were in the similar range as above, some cases, more. This is why I LOVE the late series bets and don't FEAR them, even though several of them will lose, the win $ will outweigh the loss $ in the end, unless of course there are too many losses, e.g. 2006.Originally posted by Wallco99There is a backtest somewhere in this thread back to the 2005 season. Wallco is so successful but he uses JM's name.if he believe his system,he must create his own thread
Amazing ... how many people are just going to pipe in without doing their homework? I just fail to understand the people that jump in on a thread and start asking questions already answered, or making statements that have been addressed before. I guess they are so much more important than the rest of us and cannot be bothered to help themselves.Comment -

#1903Thanks for that. I will have to repost that soon, that data isn't fully accurate. When I was backtesting, there were some criteria I was keeping track of on the side to see how it did over the long haul before I included the numbers in the totals. Now that I have the finished version, some of these criteria are being used, and one item that I was using back then has been deleted. The numbers are all still great, just a little different, and in some cases, higher. 2010 for example is 17 units higher with the new criteria than it was when I first posted, I will update soon, but for now, use that as a general guide. I believe another season dropped a couple units, but the overall totals did increase cumulatively.Originally posted by ross607The backtestm which lists unit profits is post #482 -- The post which lists series win / losses for years 2010 - 2007 is post #355Comment -

#1906Time for a little update on my experiment...
Current Bankroll: $5,145.00
JM MLB Record: 3 - 0
Plays today.
4. Mets +1 1/2 (-135)
5. Angels -142 ML (Think of it as a free bet, ie: "Pre-V3.")
Hate having to go against my boy Wallco's System, but it's all about long term profits. Will update in a bit here with exact money amounts since I got to run. Will be back!Comment -

#1909I'm going straight for the pre-V3 on LAA, and chasing them tomorrow and Wed if required. The RPI factor is important (LAA is the much better team) and LAA is at home. Of the 2 teams, LAA is less likely to be swept. CWS would be an unofficial play throughout the 3 games. LAA could become official tomorrow if they don't win tonight.Originally posted by hagball52JM MLB System 2011 Official season series record 3-0 (v1 and v2) Unofficial series 1-0 Next Plays (Official) (5/9/2011) NY Mets @ Colorado R/L (A) (5/10 (B) and 5/11 (C) if necessary) rpi NYM (.500) - COL (.514) Unofficial Plays (5/9/2011) Chicago White Sox (.478) @ LA Angels (.534) R/L (A) (5/10 (B) and 5/11 (C) ) * Also could qualify as a v3 play. Notes: Here we go again with the close rpi. The official play qualifies by .001. Morrison will send it out all 3 days if necessary and then disqualify it if it loses. Play this one at your own risk. I'm still toying with the format on this page to try and get you all the information necessary so it may change a little as we go. GL all P.S. I did get an email from JM posting the play.

#1922My system doesn't say a team will win the R/L two consecutive nights, if it wins tonight and you don't play it, and try to jump on it tomorrow, then there is no backtested data to back up that play. You are thinking as a gambler, not as a system player. And we all know, GAMBLERS LOSE.Originally posted by hotYou just bet COL M/L for(A)bet. #1924Hi guys,
My first post here @ SBR, found it just last week and absolutely loving it
I've been following JM's NBA system this season and made some wonderful $$$ as I've managed to avoid the Detroit and Utah losses.
Moving now onto the MLB system for 2011 and I would love to join you guys in the discussion and the following of the games and, hopefully, the profits.
Read through the whole thread and would like to pay respects
to hagball, stevex, kev and all the other guys joining in, I'll definitely be a visitor daily.
Also, a giant thank you note to wallco for all the exceptional work.
* Good luck to everyone *
Go Mets (anytime during the next three days),
Go Rockies (same applies),
Go Angels!Comment -
