At the end of the season the spread across the MLB is approx 0.080. So, yesterday, JM's filter of 0.010 was not worth thinking about. Yesterday I used a pre-series RPI difference of 0.040 before I checked the teams' standings. The difference was 0.056, so the bet qualified for me. As Hagball has indicated, the difference has reduced to 0.018 today. If the Brewers lose, the difference will go below the threshold and might even be negative....

Thought I would let you know.

PS. I've played the B bet, anyway
Yeah the rpi starts to flatline as we go deeper into the season. Early on it looks like an earthquake on a graff chart. The one thing JM won't do is warn you in advance because he wants the win but if it loses he will disqualify it. He has the stellar record and your down over 20 units.

Just got the email from JM about 45 min. ago. No mention of a v2 bet. I fired off a question about it. I think he's asleep at the wheel again.

I was wondering how some of you may use a labby system in order to beat online black jack? What kind of bankroll do you need if you line starts off 1 1 1 1 ? (To win $2 on first bet) Also since Max bet is $25, I am not a huge black jack player, but I assume there is a lot of variance in it. Do you think I need to use multiple lines with out compounding since max bet is $25? Any help on this subject would be extremely helpful. Thanks JMD>
Your speaking with someone who has done exactly that, to the "T". I started with around 100$ the first night I tried it, I was bored. I made it up to 700$ by the end of the night. If you are lucky enough to do that well take your money and quit. The next day I proceeded to lose almost all that I had made in a just a few short hours. I was down to 300, and before you knew it, I was broke. So, if you want to take the chance go for it, but in the long run it will eat your $. Don't try to out think yourself, you will lose, trust me.

V2 really isn't even a system so lets not even mention it in here any more to confuse some people. Basically he just tells you to increase your bet size for the B bet.

stevex I have to disagree. V2 is a variation on the system based on the outcome of the previous game. JM says this variation gives more plays and therefore more profit.

Similar to NBA Version 2 & 3. If you were playing JM NBA did you only play games with teams in different conferences?

Did you stay at the 1 1 1 1 line and break it down to multiple lines if it got too big? I turned $50 into $311 so far. My biggest bet so far was $42 when i doubled down from my $21 bet. At one point i lost like 18 striaght bets cause i was pushing with 20 and 21 lol... so i had to break that line down to 6 different labby lines at 7 7 7 7 each one.

IT IS CRAZY! but if you have the bankroll it should work out.... I thought a $150 bankroll would be ok, but now im thinking its similar to limit poker, where you will need like $1k bankroll for a 1 1 1 1 line, however i did manage to clear 49 lines so far today

I'm going to keep it going and try make some money for a vegas trip next month...

I don't really know if that will work in the longrun. Labbys work because you add only 1 number when you are losing but remove 2 numbers when you are winning. Your % therefore just needs to be >33% to make a profit.

When you are splitting one labby line into 6 lines, it will take you even longer to clear all of them ... and your % obviously needs to go up since you are adding more numbers to the labby than usual. Let's say you clear 3 of the 6 new lines, but the 4th gets out of hand again and you again split it into another 6 lines, making your total lines 8. This way you will never clear your lines and you are just hoping for a hot run.

You win money by clearing lines, not by keeping them around longer.

Just add 1 number when you lose and remove 2 when you win. If the bet sizes get too big, you have to start with a lower labby (5 5 5 5 instead of 10 10 10 10 for example)

Wikipedia has a better explanation in their Labouchere article than I can ever write:

Occasionally, a player following this system will come to a point where he can no longer make the next bet as demanded by the system due to table limits. One work-around for this problem is simply to move to a higher limit table, or a player can take the next number that should be bet, divide it by two and simply add it to the list twice. The problem with the latter option is that every time a player commits such a play, it will infinitesimally increase the percentage of spins a player must win to complete the system. The reason this is so is because the player is adding two numbers (which both will be crossed out in the event of wins) where only one loss was sustained.
The player would actually have to win in excess of 50% of the time in order to complete the list, or more than the player could actually be expected to win.

Can someone PM me with this method? I am at a loss.
Nevermind guys, I just looked it up. However, wouldn't you have to have a large BR in order to use this system with JM?

I know, how lame this government is becoming. Everyone out of work, and an honest man wants to make a few bucks and have a little fun playing poker. Why don't they just tax it, instead of stealing away one of our last escapes from reality. Let it be an eye opener, sportsbooks may be next.

Wallco I hear yeh man. I would think the Government would have enough to worry about (drugs, guns, etc. etc.) to just let us all be, but it comes down to money and there not getting there share of the pie so they did what they had to do.

Lets just hope they leave things alone from now on, nobody is getting hurt here. I really don't want to have to move to Vegas to keep making this money

All those point blank shots, and Flyers score on a weak blue line shot. Goota love it!

+259.5 units today when my labby line starts at 1 1 1 1 (i.e. unit size = $2) for black jack.

I had to break it down to multiple lines a few times, but it worked out all right. I know what your saying about never clearing the lines, but this is not totally true, it may take a lot longer to clear, but you wont have to risk your whole bankroll. I pushed with 21 so many times vs the dealer it was retarded.

I have a black Jack Chart, but idk if it is completely correct or not. I get confused in some spots...

Reading over some other black chart charts..... I knew i was playing slightly wrong! The chart I have is a bit, off maybe my lines would not of been so crazy at times if i had correct chart. Oh well still good money made today

I have been using my instincs so far, but i know there has to be a mathematical rule for this as well. I was basically just trying not to let my bets get bigger then $20, however, i was unable to do that at certain points.

At certain points I feel i got lucky because i was relying on a heater to come.

for instance say your labby lines after dividing look like this:

                                                                      7 7 7 7
                                                                      7 7 7 7
                                                                      7 7 7 7

so first line your bet would be $14, if l lost that bet I would divide the $14 on the 2nd two lines.

                                                                      so it would be :
                                                                      7 7 7 7
                                                                      7 7 7 7 7
                                                                      7 7 7 7 7

of course this is not the best plan in the world cause you are adding two #s when you lose and crossing out 2 numbers when you win. At the time though I did not have a big enough bankroll to withstand some of the variance in blackjack, so i had to rely on a heater i suppose.

I guess I could of broke it down a bit further into like 8 lines or something, then my #s wouldn't of been so big.

I am no expert on this matter, but I will be studying blackjack using Labby system a lot over this next week or so. Since Poker got cut off I will have to be looking for a new source of income over next couple months. If i can clear 25 lines a day in black jack, thats all I really need.
