Underdogs are not good plays yet

This past week, I was looking at the results of games and seeing if the favored team was winning. And for the most part, the favorites are winning. I think as a general strategy that one should start betting heavy underdogs (ie +170) later on in the season.

Right now, the best plays are slight favorites:

so for today:

Buehrle -112
Washburn +135
Young +102
Oliver Perez -110
Westbrook -128

Buerhle has really solid numbers against the Rays.
I dont know if I would take Washburn on the road.
Moyer always pitches tough against the Mets, but its a launching pad so its hard to say, I'm staying away from Mets-Phils.
Cleveland looks like a good play and I'm hoping they win today so I can fade them tomorrow.
