Adam Wainwright significant arm injury

Wainwright has awful mechanics it was only a matter of time before he had a signifcant arm injury. Would not be shocked to see carpenter and Garcia get hurt this year as well as both have bad mechanics.

I guess this is the Cards year to have a wacky year. Seems most teams that have off / pre season issue end up having a wierd year. First this Albert P. signin issue/controversy and now Wrights arm issue.

Tough break for the Cards is an understatement. Wainright pitched his guts out. He put so much torque on his elbow the way he throws his slider and curve. At that level you only have some many throws in your arm before it gives out.

this sucks. I just wonder if all these guys really need this surgery though. Awful news for this year at least.

Massive lost for the Cardinals. I wouldn't be surprised to see them sign Kevin Millwood now, to at least try and fill the gap.
