Mariners -105 you do the same

while some plays look easy like Webb , Maine , Hudson , Wainwright , Germano , Penny , I will not touch these .
fading Oswalt and the capper fav pick of the day and taking philly to prevail . of course this may be my 1 miss , since oswalt has cost me this year already by sucking , hope he sucks some more .

Zambrano has terrible record vs Cincy. Other plays look good.

Who better for Carlos to shut down than the Reds in Chic on a wed night .
Carlos might not have fared well late in the year , is early , his arm should be like a well greased , well tuned machine tonight .
Lee and Ramirez have 6 hrs combined off Fogg .
Cubs have some momentum , Reds should be trying to avoid the sweep come thurs after just getting swept at the Pirates .
Reds turn this losing streak around ? I will ride the positive streak vs the losing streak here , if wrong tonight I will take the Cubbies on thurs as well . If right tonight I will lay off the thurs game perhaps .
Serious though , most likely result here is Reds get swept back to back .
I'm goin to see the Dodgers at Reds , hopefully the Reds put up a battle in that series . ; )

Zambrano went 2-4 with a 5.30 ERA in six starts versus the Reds last season, and is just 3-7 with a 4.12 ERA in 12 career starts against them at Chicago.


Not a game I would lay -1.5 runs on , is all I am saying.

I know what ya mean , thanx , just riding the hot team vs the cold here . Until the Reds start showing me something I will most likely go against them .
If they slip a win in here and there I will not be too hurt .

As far as looking at what a pitcher has done in the past vs a team ? I like throwing that out the window from time to time .
If we could go by those kind of stats and have success , this would be a cakewalk for sure .
While it may apply many times , it applies the the exact opposite around the same # .

Zambrano may have a no hitter going into the 6th inn . Pray son pray .

watch for a defensive upgrade in the outfield tonight with Soriano being out . he is nothing great defensively for sure ! watch for a big play from the cubbies outfield . also watch for sorianos's fill in to show why big names can be just that , simply big names . any given night baby . 4 - 4 one time with a walk . 3 - 4 with a sac fly ?

The o/u 12 for the Cubs game means this one could be a doozy . Wind may help the Reds or it may hurt them , we'll see . As much as I would like to be savvy whatever that means , and detract my Cubs play because of the weather conditions ... I'll let it ride and look for some brillance from Cubs pitchers , fine defense and a big 4 or 5 run inning from Chic .
