got to think the giants will be patient, get some walks, get his pitch count up, and get RJ out after about 5 innings. low line for a couple pitchers who are likely to be done early and im not a huge fan of either pen. could be a game where the strike out potential of each pitcher allows them to get out of jams early, but then the pens give up a few runs late. ff u, game over, sf are my leans.

While I first was thinking D-backs here because neither pitcher impresses me & D-backs are much better with the bats I think Mo is right. With the o/u on the game being 7.5 I think the over is my bet of the day.

Over for sure. Johnson was not sharp in his rehab stints and Jonathon Sanchez......well....he tries hard. I see lots of walks and runs in this one.

Randy isn't even sure if he'll stay this season if his pitching not good enough. I don't see anybody advantage as pitching goes. Dbacks coming of the lost and their are definitely have better bats.
SF getting comfortable at home they played decent couple series.
I don't have strong vision but if decide to go will be Dbacks and O.

Sanchez will get knocked around by the Dbacks the same way he gotted knocked around by the Brewers. Atleast that is what I and alot of bettors here are hoping. Randy Johnson will be lucky to go 5. Neither bullpen is very good.

all of reynolds slugging has come off righties, upton has killed lefties, drew has been better vs righties, bryns is hitting and slugging better vs lefties, and young is batting over .300 vs lefties. looks like a good spot for an over.

As bad as the Giants are, I would rather be on them here than on RJ as a road favorite in his first start back.

unit is bad, and the giants are bad
hard to lay on unit on the road especially.
maybe the over is the play

the diamonbacks are hitting big , and the giants arnt hitting at all.

                              2 units on the dbacks

No offense (I bet it myself) to anyone who played it but I think Arizona is the biggest square play on the card. Johnson is a question mark at best, even if he's effective he's not going to go deep, game probably decided by the pens. Another one of those name pitchers that still gets a little too much respect by gamblers. Smart money on the Giants or no play in my opinion.

My bet isn't on RJ as much as it is against the Giants. But I'll likely back it up with an over-play as well.

I got the same bet you do. Question is why have them if it's a square play Patrick? LOL, good question. I bet them because I did the games last night and had not updated all my stats. Thought I ran them but I didn't, was working off Fridays numbers. At that time Arizona had statistically the best pen in the NL. I wasn't betting Johnson, I was playing Arizona because I thought their pen was much better and they have been hitting well, lefties too. Anyway I think they are the better team but wouldn't lay a price like this on the road had all my stuff been current. Maybe I'll get lucky, can't pick a winner this year when I'm trying.
