    AUTO-BANG the OVER

They won 80 games last year with a bullpen that resembled a girls team.

And don't worry about Dan Uggla being gone. A full season of Mike Stanton and Logan Morrison and people will be like, "Dan who?"

I like your thinking! I would just hate waiting months to get paid on a future bet though.

Was thinking the same thing. Especially when you are on a division w/ the Mets.

They averaged 79.4 wins in five sim runs I did a week or so ago. Got to believe they will open about 78, plus or minus a half.

I think they should be good for 80-82 wins, I'd take the over.

Considering Javy Vazquez will take the Andrew Miller rotation spot and probably double his win total -- I'd like the over as well. Javy was shit last year, but he's torn it up in the NL East for the majority of his career.

Also they finally have a decent catcher (no more of the Paulino/Baker/Hayes bullshit).

I'll give you 90+ at +150, jewbear. Your 100 points to my 150 on the under 90.

the only issues is their division. they could easily have a good year, but finish with 70 wins

If Florida only wins 70, it won't be a "good year."

Maybe 93 is a little high, I can't put my money where my mouth (typing fingers) is> Just a Marlins fan with high hopes I guess

Always good to have high expectations, JewBear. Can't fault a man for that, just that I'm a cynical old fart by nature

Tell you what, I've sent you 25 points. If the Marlins reach 89 wins, keep 'em; if they fall short of 89, you can return them later. Best of luck.

If they open at 77.5 I will still hammer it pretty good.

78 is where my comfort level begins to drop dramatically.

It opened higher than I expected, that's for sure. I figured 78-79 or maybe 80, but 81.5? Ouch.
