Seems like the padres do not swing the bats well or if the baseball just does not carry well on cold nights. Brad Penny was 15-3 with 2.67 era in night games in 2007. Penny did not pitch in too many day games in 2007 as he was 1-1 in day games with a 4.71 era. The padres have struggles in scoring runs in April night games not just this year.
