Record today was 1-1 & postponed so that still has me in the hole at 2-5 with an 0-1 record on best bets (made my first best bet post today). Why is it that all the games i'm really confident on just get rained out?Comment -

Yea I don't consider myself a real capper by any means. Still I like to challenge myself and see how good I am at it anyway. The frustrating thing with betting is that doing it more doesn't necessarily mean better results.
One thing I was thinking about doing was putting a unit on the Mets every time Santana or Peavy pitches. However then you get the Santana of last year who only won 2 more games than he lost and when you figure in that he had 5 additional games where he didn't get the decision it goes to show that trying to bet with even one of the best pitchers in baseball can still put you on the losing end.
What I do know is that if you are patient enough with some teams (the Yanks for example) you can come away with a reasonable profit if you just do the ML on them every day. The thing with that is most people get frustrated with the Yanks because they go on losing streaks that make a bettor cringe.Comment -
