Struggling with baseball so far, and that's honestly what I expected. I normally don't start until 3 weeks into the season, but this year I bet the first game, and just kept going. Did well to start it off, slumping the past 2 days though. Looking to break the streak.

The diamonds are the three base. first base, second base, and third base.

That tells you how many balls (outside of the strike zone shown above) have been thrown against that batter. If a pitcher throws 4 of them, it's an automatic first base (called a walk) for the batter, without having to make contact with the ball. But if a pitcher gets 3 strikes (obviously inside the strike zone), before you hit the ball, you sit down, and someone else tries. When the pitcher sits down 3 guys (no hits or walks), it's the next team's turn, against the opposing team's pitcher.
