What's up guys.... this has had its highs and lows thus far in the season, but for those still on board to try to work this out, here are the number for the three day games, keep in mind as BOT rightly pointed out day games do have the tendency to have more early runs more so than night games:
Phi/Nym
Moyer 553/298 1/1
Perez 140/87 1/0
---- not too bad as far as career numbers go, but Moyer got absolutely shelled in his first outing in the first, and also, i have been thinking of avoiding taking these where the leadoff hitter is particularly dangerous, and Rollins certainly qualifies
Balt/Tex
Burres 17/11 1/0
Jennings 174/137 1/0
----- this one is definitely a coin flip, the only thing going for it is that both teams have trouble getting the bats going early, and neither has any considerable pop in the bats at the top of the order
Det/Bos
Rogers 444/280 1/0
Dice-K 32/16 2/1
----- i really want to take this one, solid pitching and two lineups that are starting very flat, only thing that scares me a bit is that fenway plays like a wiffleball field sometimes, i think this one has a better than 50-50 of going scoreless in the first.....
well that's it for day games, short afternoon card, really hoping things balance out today with this venture..... i guess the horrible day yesterday should have been anticipated a bit after the ridiculously good 12-3 day on sunday....
Hopefully there are some here still interested in working out an approach on this, you guys have been a great help with this, thanks....
what do you say, let's rekindle the winning ways with this card
