parlay question

I made a small parlay bet tonite, taking the Phillies and Braves to win their respective games.
I obviously got lucky with the Phillies coming back. But when Hampton was scratched in Atlanta, I thought my bet would be a no action. Instead, my website account shows I have won my parlay, though for a smaller amount than I figured, this despite the Braves game not being over yet.
Can someone explain that to me?

would it be the same thing, if a game in a parlay was rained out? Or would that be a no-bet?
