ML Parlay thread for Tuesday April 1
ok, trying to get this going for the baseball season.... those of you that followed know it was a great idea started by imgv in college BB and was a goldmine for a lot of us....

Gonna try to work out some type of screening system to take two ML Favs each day, that have a high percentage chance to win at a good value payout.... let's see how this works....

The thread is to discuss ML parlays for the day, but also all are welcome to discuss any plays they are considering.... this worked out great in college BB let's create that atmosphere here all summer long....

I am thinking in terms of factors to use in these ML Parlay plays is Ace of the staff vs. 3rd starter or worse, as well as other factors to screen out other possibilities, and of course teams on winning streaks v. teams on losing streaks as that is the hidden goldmine in baseball....

the upside with baseball is the ML are so low compared to BBall and Football that you only have to include two big favs in a play for a great payout, the downside is even the best teams win at 65% clip, so plays may lose a lot more often than College BBall and football..... let's see if we can get this going, the upside is you will almost always be getting better than even money payouts, so theorhetically you could have a losing record and still a profit in units.... looking forward to a great crew of cappers forming in this thread all summer....

    Yesterday was my first play:

    Detroit
    NYM

    at +118

was looking great early, but Detroit and Verlander ran outta gas in the 6th/7th and tanked the day....

    So far on the season:

    0-1 -1 unit

Pedro against the woeful Marlins, nuff said

Dice-K looked very solid against Oak after the second inning in Japan, and conversely Blanton looked pretty shakey

I can't think of a worse idea than parlaying high ML faves in baseball.

Like the Mariners, who have abused Padilla in the past. Would consider a parlay with Boston.

Maybe. I see your point in the fact that there is very little home field advantage and even the worst team in the majors wins 40% of the time and the best about 60% so of course there alot of variables..

One pitch could mess up 8 2/3 innings of winning baseball too. But with that being said Payoffs are higher, so lets see how these guys do..
