This is my first year betting the bases and I was curious what is the biggest ML's favorites. . .
DO you ever see -300 or more?

The lines move up as the season progresses. You will see lines in the 400's later in the season.

400 lines are kinda rare, but they do pop up every now and then throughout the season.
As far as the biggest line I ever recall seeing. Two years ago the Yankees wee like -475 against the Royals.

I believe the biggest ML last year closed at Minn -435 with Santana pitching at home against the Nationals. And the Nats won the game 3-1.

I would never ever ever ever play a ML favourite over -175. Never.
Just me though. Baseball is a funny game. Expect the unexpected during individual games. You can pretty safely fade teams over the course of the season but I would never fade any team that much for one game.

Yanks are always overrated from a bettors perspective. You can make some good money fading them the 2nd half of the year if you pick your spots. I did.

over 350 is rare, but they do happen every now and then.
i know last season i won maybe 5-6 times taking the Royals and Twins at some select times at around +190 to +240.
i generally stay away from those plays but sometimes i take a shot.

I remember one year, on a Friday night, Arizona was starting Randy Johnson and he was like -400 something against the Brewers.
The Brewers promptly scored like 8 runs off in the first inning...lol. Game turned into a rout too.
Probably every square on earth had ARIZ in some type of parlay that night.....
