Johan Santana usually struggles in the early portion of the season. I think Florida +180 has some really great value. What do you guys think?

i try to make it a rule not to bet against santana.

mets seem to be valued way too high. They have an aging lineup who did not get many AB during spring training so they might start off slow.

I think it'd be smarter to fade them when perez, pelfrey or hernandez is pitching.

John Maine has be lights out this spring though. He might be the only pitcher I would back if mets are on the road.

absolutely. No question about it, but lets face the music. Santana is a top 5 pitcher in the game and he is going to an easier league. It will take some time for the NL to adjust to him.
