ok.... the sox are plaing at the LA coliseum against the dodgers in an exhibition tonight, most of you probably know that.... it is more of a spectacle than anything else, but they put together a make-shift field as it is not traditionally a ballpark, the thing is they set it up where the distance down the left field line is 200 feet....
that was not a typo, 200 feet, conversely it seems like the distance down the right field line looks clearly over 400 feet....
completely assanine if you ask me, but nonetheless they did it....
so it seems to me that the team with a heavy hitting righthanded lineup has an unbelievable advantage in this game... if Manny is in the lineup he could easily end up with 3 homers in this one.... i mean there are practially gonna be check swing homeruns in this one....
haven't seen the lineups or pitchers yet, but whoever has more righties in the lineup very likely wins this game, especially if any left handed pitchers are involved...
anyway just thought i would put the head's up out there....
