    Refreshing Honesty
Not offen you hear a professional athlete admit he is over paid. Refreshing to say the least.

"I would totally agree I'm not worth that contract." Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Vernon Wells, on hitting just .273 with 31 homers and 88 RBIs in the 4th year of his seven year, $126 million contract.

    Other news.............

Catcher Geovany Soto has agreed to a $3 million, one year deal with the Chicago Cubs, avoiding arbitration. Soto, the 2008 Rookie of the Year, batted .280 with 17 homers and 53 RBIs in 105 games in 2010 when his salary was $575,000.

Free agent reliever Kyle Farnsworth has agreed to a $3.25 million, one year contract with the Tampa Bay Rays. The deal includes a club option for 2012.

    Thanks workhorse, good info

Wells is extremely overpaid and its disgusting ... I hope he donates to charity

Cubs locking up Soto is pretty important especially if he can return to 08 form, they need everything they can to compete in that division

Farnsworth will help this team but they are in trouble after losing everyone!
