I won't be able to post on Sun or Mon (mini-vacation to Williamsburg, VA).

Good luck this weekend gentlemen. Baseball is alot of fun 'cause there's so much to choose from every day and there's never a day off.

                  Monday

                  Parlay: TB/Marlins

TB: no explanation necessary. Until I lose on it, I will continue to parlay them at home when they have the better pitcher.

Florida: over the last 10 games, they are outscoring the Padres 6.3 to 3.6 runs per game. Padres have lost their last 8 home games. Maddux has been horrible in his last 2 starts, what does he have to play for? He is too old to carry this club, they are 3-7 in their last 10 games and are planning for next year. Marlins are still in the hunt and Nolasco is a good pitcher.

                  $74 to win $159

There goes the parlay... Wheeler gives up a 3-run jack and a solo shot.

I picked up the late play on Florida as a single. Unbelievable that TB couldn't sweep KC.

Playing the laws of probability tonight:

-Duscherer at home: 6-1, 1.46 ERA (lowest ERA in majors)
-Silva on road: 2-5, 5.86 ERA
-SEA are 1-8 in Silva's last 9 starts
-Silva has given up 10 HRs in 58 road innings. Do the math.

-Dempster at home: 9-0, 2.71 ERA
-Harang on road: 1-6, 5.20 ERA
-Chicago are 39-12 in their last 51 home games
-Harang has given up 9 HRs in 53 road innings. Do the math.

If I get beat on this parlay, I could wake up tomorrow knowing that I would make the same exact play all over again if given the chance. That's the kind of play I like!

I don't think so, because the A's are in the playoff hunt and that means more. The A's gave up Haren too, remember. They don't mind giving up the strong arms in return for future prospects, and I think the dugout understands that.

i'm glad you left zito's name out . hehe

hmm , yeah i dont understand that trade at all .
harden is a ticket for any team to make some noise .
cubs need a new closer . if they pull that off in a trade imagine what the odds would be for the cubs to win the nl pennant ..

a's tonight perplexes me being such a high fav .

For me it's about fading Silva and trusting Duscherer. I know the A's don't score much, but I like their chances tonight obviously.

Guillermo Mota is a disgusting piece of work. 2-5 with a 4.91 ERA, so the manager decides to bring him into a one-run game in the 7th inning?! I'll tell you what, shit like this makes look further and further ahead to the college football season. I get disgusted by these idiotic managers and umps ruining these fvcking games!! Sheets fans 11, gives up three runs, and the Brewers can't win at home cause their manager pulls the trigger on a dud thrower when the game is on the line! PUKE
