I could see the White Sox providing some solid returns early on. With not making the playoffs and having a quiet offseason (Adam Dunn and not much else), I could see them starting off well. @Cle, @KC, TB, OAK, LAA, @TB, @Det doesn't seem all that difficult of a schedule from Apr 1 - 24

Real tough to say without the benefit of some spring training observations. But for the sake of discussion, I really want to see what the O's might do with Showalter getting a running start.

I have to say though that I am not a big fan of Mark Reynolds. Maybe a change of organizations, hitting instructors, etc. can help this dude hit his weight. But I'm skeptical.

Underdogs for the first month should be a start - there are always 3 or 4 BS teams who start off playing good baseball for a few weeks, then a 1-15 streak hits and....voila....back to the basement they go!

Unpopular teams... teams that don't have fans... like the royals
teams that lost people in free agency...

I'd be looking for Tampa Bay. They were losing guys but they still have good core talent and they are still tough at home. People overestimate free agent additions too much and they underestimate free agent losses.
