My favorite team is the Brewers .... I have been a die hard Brewers fan my whole life .. the past 3 seasons Zack Greinke has been my favorite pitcher so naturally I was ecstatic ... I have them winning the division not just because I am a fan though .. I legitimately think they should win that division

I think with the filthiest lefty in the league as our number 4 starter, anything can happen

I just wonder if that hitting was a one year wonder or not ... I am not digging Tejada at short and I hope Posey has no sophomore slump which I don't really see .. just would hurt a lot ... should be interesting

MLB, who do the Brew Crew have in the line-up? Or what will the line-up look like come opening day?

1. Weeks
2. Hart
3. Braun
4. Fielder
5. McGehee
6. Lucroy
7. Betancourt
8. Gomez/Pitcher
9. Pitcher/Gomez (Not sure of Roenicke's style on this but Brewers have had managers in the past who have liked to put speed like this batting 9)
This lineup is almost worse case scenario. Going into every year people say if Gomez can manage to get on base he will be a stud lead off hitter. Only problem is he doesn't and hasn't since early in his career with the Twins. My ideal lineup is getting Weeks out of the lead off spot as i think he is an ideal number 2 and having the speed of Gomez leading off. This isn't likely to happen unless Gomez is making great strides. Another key to the season is the development of Mat Gamel. He is a 3rd baseman but he has not come along there like he was projected to so his other possibilities are corner outfield or first base. Dealing Fielder would go a long way in saying that Gamel is developing the way the Brewers organization want him to. Should be interesting though if and when the Brewers decide to dump Prince and what they will get in return

until someone either wins the world series or proves they can beat them constantly they are .. they are defending champs .. if hitting slumps i would watch out though .. those kind of runs rarely last more than a year .. having that pitching staff cant hurt though

This line up looks good. But what about their rotation and pen? I guess Hoffman is out as the closer, right?

I think the Giants will get their Pen worked. It's not the greatest unless starters can take a game with insurance runs to the 7-8 inning.

Starting rotation is #3 in the NL behind the Giants and Phils.
1. Greinke
2. Gallardo
3. Marcum
4. Wolf
5. Narveson
I assume right now Narveson will have the 5 spot coming off of a solid 12 win season, but Parra will obvisouly try to get that spot back. With this rotation the bullpen looks like Hawkins, Saito (recently acquired), Zack Braddock, Kameron Loe, and then Manny Parra. Parra will be important when in the bullpen because if the starters can't go 6,7 innings he will have to come in and be able to pitch a few innings to not overwork the pen like last year. With the addition of Greinke and Marcum (both innings eaters) they will now not have to rely so heavily on that pen like last year. Saito, Braddock and Loe pitched very well at the end of the year after being brought up. Hoffman is still a free agent but I can't see any way they resign him. This leads us to one of the most imporantant parts of the 2011 season, John Axford, the new closer. Axford also came up in the middle of the year last year and pitched lights out in 58 innings. Converted 24 saves in 27 chances last year with a 2.48 ERA. Will be interesting to see what he does in his first full season at the age of 27.
As for the Giants pen, although not the best around, rotation is still great and only getitng better. I know it could potentially be a problem if the rotation can't eat up proper innings but as of right now I don't see that being a problem. Wilson sometimes inconsistent should be a viable closer again and you are looking at another potential NL pennant winning team as long as they can produce runs

Gallardo should be my money maker. That guy is nasty!
Shouldn't the Cards be strong too? They always have a strong rotation and LaRussa is smart with his pitchers.

Honestly, I think the NL Central will end up being:
Cardinals
Brewers
Reds
Cubs
Pirates
Cardinals lineup:
Schumaker
Berkman
Pujols
Holliday
Rasmus (I think may have a 30/30 year in his near future)
Freese
Molina
Pitcher
Theriot
That front 5 is probably the best in the NL, if not close.
Rotation:
Carpenter
Wainwright
Garcia
Westbrook
Lohse

I would rather have Jon Jay instead of Berkman. But that's fine with me as a Padres fan because pitching will get Berkman anyday no matter if Pujols is batting behind him.
