    Pete Rose Jr. Manager
Pete Rose Jr. next season will manage the Bristol (VA) White Sox, a rookie league affiliate of the Chicago White Sox of the Appalachian League. Rose Jr. played 21 seasons of minor league baseball with several organizations, including the White Sox.

The boy showed a lot of TRY for sure. Twenty one seasons in the minors might be a record...anyone know?

Man I don't know but my hat goes off to the dude. I played 5 yrs. and the grind of the bus trips got to me. Actually saw Pete Jr. play in the Florida State League years ago.

You know in '97 he did get a cup of coffee with the Reds. In 14 official at bats he managed 2 singles but struck out 9 times. Kid had to love the game. Must have taken a lot a chit from the fans. I wish him luck in riding the buses again.
