    Tex Vs SF
Hey guys i am relly liking the -2 1/2 runline for texas on saturday game. for some reason they got their ass handed to them in the first two games but now colby lewis is pitching and i really dont think he will let more then 2 runs. for me i think 6-2 Texas. any comments, all input would be good.

A lot will depend on how Sanchez looks, because you'll need some runs to win this. Sanchez can be very good at times, and you know he's hungry right now. The talk of the Giants' weak offense is bunk; the team came around offensively during the course of the season. Offensively, this team has nothing to do with the Giants that were on the field the first two months of the season.

But the biggest problem I see with the play is the Rangers' bullpen. Someone once told me to look first at the bullpens, and then go from there, when capping baseball. I believe the mediocre Rangers' bullpen is one of the really big factors in this series. They are not great, they have been really shaky in the series, and the Giants appear to own them. Keep in mind that Lewis seldom gets past the sixth inning (only twice in 15 starts since August 1).

Personally, I'm a little surprised that the Giants are getting such great odds in this game -- +142, and rising, with about half the bets going down on the Rangers. Amazing!! I know this will be in Texas, and they need a win like never before, and Sanchez sucked last time out, and Lewis is solid, but still .... +142??? I'll be on the Giants, no question about it; I just haven't decided exactly how or how much.

          Good luck.

I understand what your saying zephyr but i dont think Sanchez is up to win the game. i still think he will give up 4 runs and then maybe with some error they will get some more out of it. i cant count the rangers out just yet.alot of people are betting on texas because of lewis becuase he has been very soild in the playoffs and i think he can remain solid until their very last game. so for now i will have to go on their run line and i know that the rangers bullpen will burst todays game.
