Anyone on SF to win it all? Seems like the world is backing Texas. I like SF at +123, but hoping to get that higher.

#2Going with Texas here. For me, it seems as though SF is going to have to keep up with the TX hitting rather than the other way around. SF pitching is going to be the biggest challenge for TX but I think they can get around it. Good luck either way you go. It will be a great series to watch.Comment -

#5I've been on Texas from the start and I'm rolling right on through the series. I for one was glad to see the Giants come out of the NL instead of the Phillies. I don't expect a sweep but I think the Rangers have it all working right now. Hitting edge goes to Texas, Starting pitching I'd give to the Giants but their guys had to work a lot harder against the Phillies than Texas did against the Yankees.Comment -

#6Bet the chalk! I can't believe the Rangers aren't -200 in this series. The Rangers effectively won the World Series when they beat NY. This is just a "kill some time series" while their rings are being crafted.Comment -

#8I like the Giants to win the series. As a better, I have loved all the plus lines on the Giants in the postseason. Best team ERA in the majors over the regular season (3.36). Best save percentage in the majors over the regular season (78%). Middle of the pack team batting average over the regular season (257, 15th in the MLB). Adequate fielding (at .988, tied with three other teams for best fielding percentage in the MLB over the regular season). Excellent managing. Great clubhouse chemistry. Good ju ju. And home field advantage in this series. I've had a pretty good run with them in the postseason, and I intend to stay on them as long as the lines are good and the team appears to have life.Comment -

#11love the fact that everybody is on texas for game 1...think the ump will be conveniently "inconsistent" in squeezing lee, much like how cousins called game 1 of the lcs, almost making it impossible for the consensus under in that game to cash...
having vlad in the field in SF's home park is going to be disasterous for the rangers...Comment -

#12I realize how hot the rangers bats have been, and I think they have had the most balanced team late in the season and throughout the playoffs. That being said, I'm going to pick the best staff in baseball to upset the rangers and win the series.

#14How bleak did it not look for good old Giants when the table looked like this July 4th.
San Diego 49 33
Los Angeles 45 36
Colorado 44 38
San Fransisco 41 40
Arizona 32 50
I remember getting swept by the shitty ass Dodgers at home. Terrible times. This is a team of Destiny. They score runs when they need to, not some silly powerhouse. Living on the edge.Comment -

I should post a link to my 4th of July thread about the Giants game, they went on an absolute tear after that dayComment -
