Molina gets a ring regardless of who wins.....
played 61 games for SF and 57 games for texas.
Pretty weird.

Shows you how valuable a QUALITY receiver is in the MLB.
Boston should take notes that VMart won't get them to the next level.

"I just don't much like the thought (of playing the Giants in the World Series)," Molina said at Thursday's workout in Rangers Ballpark. "But we're both in good position, and if we get there, it'll be good. I just want to make sure we (the Rangers) get it done first before anything else.
"For sure it would assure me a World Series ring, and that would be a happy note if I was to retire."
"It feels really good to be seeing them do well," Molina said of the Giants. "I have a lot of family and friends there, guys who feel like family. These are guys I like and I care about. These are guys who will be friends for a long time, maybe forever.
"It was a good relationship. I was like a father figure for many of them."

i dont think he would accept a ring from san fran just because they're the team who beat his. as much as he would want to, he wouldnt do it

good question. I texted my buddy that tonight and he said he would look into it. Im too ****** up right now to check but I highly doubt it. I know that a shitty front office ring of a no name is worst about 30k. An MJ or Shaq ring I have heard is 100k. I guarantee molina could sling the giants ring if he loses for a cool 50-75k. Or do you think he would automatically keep it? Pretty depressing to look at.

According to the Elias Sports Bureau, Molina would be only the second player to play in the World Series against a team he also played for that season, joining the Kansas City Royals' Lonnie Smith, who faced his former team, the St. Louis Cardinals, in the 1985 World Series.
He'll take the ring if the Giants win. It would be historic. Also, he was an important part of this Giants team. I have read that he did a lot to bring Lincecum and Cain along. He'd deserve the ring, and I'm sure the Giants would want him to have it. But I'm sure this isn't what he's wanting right now.

WOW! Bengie Molina receives a ring no matter what!!!
He played on San Fransisco earlier in the year. That's totally amazing.I'm sure that he'd rather have a Texas ring andhe's contributed. He was great against the Yankees. This guy is not in the best physical shape but I'm totally rooting for him and Josh Hamilton.Hamilton is a very humble man trying to fight addiction.I hope that he stays clean. He seems like a nice guy and is the best player in baseball EASILY
