Full disclosure here. I hate the Yankees and are tired of seeing them win. Having said that I believe that the Rangers will win tonight. The Rangers hit Hughes well in game 2 and I see no reason they will not again. They have hit well the entire series. Even in the 7-2 loss they had 13 hits. It wasn't like CC Sabathia was a mystery on the mound. Rangers hit him but just couldn't get the hit that woulda knocked him out. So it wasn't like the Ranger bats went silent. Lewis pitched pretty well in game 2 which bodes well for Texas also.

After the Yankees came back in game 1 the way they did I thought, yeah it's over and Texas won't recover from this. The Yankee domination of Texas continues. But the way the Rangers rebounded, then went to New York and win the first 2 going away they changed my opinion of this team. It would have been nice to sweep the Yankees in New York but the Yankees are still the Yankees and sweeping them there would have been a daunting task.

But Texas has been the better team throughout this series and have swung the bats well. In reality the Yankees have only hit well for 2 or 3 innings in this entire series. Also the Texas bullpen after the game 1 meltdown has been preety good. Much better than the Yanks pen. I think the home crowd will spur the Rangers on to victory tonight. Yes it won't be easy because the Yankees still have great experienced vets who have been there before. But Rangers have been the better team throughout and should win without having to go to Cliff Lee to do it.
