Teixeira is 0-19 in the series so having him out of the lineup shouldn't hurt them. Thames is better at hitting lefties anyway. Unless CC lays another egg the Yanks should get the W here.

0-19 does not matter....it will hurt them, it changes the way a pitcher attacks that part of the lineup and what kind of pitches to throw. it will change a lot just because of who he is and what he has done or what he can do. im sure any pitcher would rather face thames instead of teixeira any day of the week. also not having to worry about teix, gay rod, and cano back to back to back will help.
