Halladay vs. Lincecum....It Doesn't get Any Better

Game 1 of the 2010 NLCS between the Giants and Phillies is gonna feature the last three NL Cy Young award winners (Halladay will win it in 2010) as he and Tim Lincecum face off. As a baseball fan I am pumped!


This match up will feature two of the greatest starting pitchers going against one another in the post season since Whitey Ford and Sandy Koufax did it back in the 1950's. If the "Freak" has his control expect 2-1 final score game at worst.

In fact, I am surprised the book makers didn't have the total runs for this game Over-Under at 4.5

Should be a classic to watch either way.....

I stated that earlier because if the wind is blowing OUT at 20 MPH it doesn't favor the more Fly Ball out pitcher in Tiny Tim.....Halladay is known more as a Ground Ball out pitcher so it won't matter for him. But once again, with the wind most likely gonna swirl all over the place in that ball park it shouldn't pose that much more of a problem for the Freak.

This is one of those games I don't bet. Too many factors and variance involved. My lean would be to the Phillies however....Lincecum tends to be more erratic.

I'm just gonna sit back and enjoy the game though.
