Juan Gonzalez is back!

Cardinals signed outfielder Juan Gonzalez to a minor league contract and invited him to spring training.
Gonzalez will get a chance to beat out Ryan Ludwick for a roster spot. Considering that Ludwick hit .267/.339/.479 in 303 at-bats last season and Gonzalez's last effective half-season came five years ago, it shouldn't be much of a contest.

Juan Gonzalez hasn't been healthy in how many years now???... It just goes to show you what the Cardinals team will be like this year. They will have a ton of retreads that nobody else wants, and will finish in 3rd place in the NL Central.

Juan Gonzalez is a bum. He must have been working out with Canseco and company the last few years and feels that the steroids give him the edge he needs to be relevant at his age. He wont make the team.
