First of all,they go to games for free because there's barely 10,000 fans per game and did anyone see in the camera view in the 9th inning? They were running out of there like ants --the place was empty at the start of the inning.I'm glad that Texas won.They seemed appreciative.The manager and Hamilton have had drug problems and have been doing well lately and just the pure joy on Ian Kinsler's face was great.

News flash, Rays don't have any fans. Florida is like America, where the residents come from other states. Their loyalty is first with the team they grew up with and Rays second. You will find more Yankees, Cubs, and BoSox fans in central FL and Rays fans.

Ok so what then falls under the definition of a 'true' fan.....All im saying is that during the good times of the season the players seldomly (if ever) acknowledged the presence of their fans to share the good times with them, only in games when they were being beaten comprehensively would players dare look to their fans for help....The player to fan binary is one that holds very little character in that club and management of the club needs to look at correcting this distant r'ship between the two...my 2 cents anyway...

well alot of the baseball fans down there are from the northeast... they either like the sox or the yanks....they are the worst good team in baseball...mostly for their hitting...they took how many pitches against lee, umm a pitcher who doesn't walk.. and no personality on the team... just old fans that can't get out of bed to watch the game let alone see it unless its the sox or yanks

I've been to Tropicana Several times to see the Redsox, Yankees and a couple of other teams play the Rays and each and EVERY time it has been like a HOME game for the visitors. I understand that they are marque teams that have fans that travel well.... but the Trop is a joke IMO.
