Brother, can you spare some time?
Howdy boys and girls. I'm getting ready to hit GO on my baseball sim engine from which I draw a lot of inspiration for my MLB win totals projections. Damn thing takes a lot of time to just set up each preseason, and in an afternoon I can run 10 sims -- 30 teams, 162 games.

So I was just wondering what some of y'all think will be the 'regular lineups' for your favorite teams, or least favorite for that matter. I'm talking about what do you see right now as the lineup most likely to be used 100+ times this year by the team's current manager, not necessarily what you think it should be (even though I'm keen on that as well).

For instance, I can plug lineups into the sim in 18-game blocks real easily, and the lineup I see Cecil Cooper in Houston thinking about as his 'ideal everyday order' is this one:

    CF Bourn
    2B Matsui
    1B Berkman
    LF Lee
    RF Pence
    SS Tejada
    3B Wiggington
    C Towles
    Pitcher

So I've got that lineup plugged in right now for 108 games. Going to toy with a lineup that has Pence second, Matsui first, Tejada fifth and Cruz Jr sixth. Can See Eckstein playing some center, maybe hitting leadoff or second.

What are some lineups I need to plug into this game in your opinion?

Your starting 2 weeks earlier than me Willie. I usually start doing my bases homework at the NBA all-star break.

Dan, I had my spreadsheets cooking while the playoffs were going on in October. It's never NOT baseball season for me.
