Am I over thinking this or should I pound the Braves tomorrow night? Lowe was amazing Game 1. Gotta love Braves at home with their Ace on the mound in a must win game. Thoughts?

Im kind of biased because I like the Giants however Bumgarner is a beast. I except him to pitch just as well as the previous 3 starters. Take that for what its worth but I have a hard time betting against the Giants at this point.Comment -

Braves were as high as -139 in game 3 with hudson o the mound so this line is pretty much the same with a few cents added on for those that are gonna chase the braves on the 2 game home stand. Giants are great value here. They are the better team.Comment -

The line is where it is because everybody doesn't see Bumgarner as a solid pitcher but he has been solid on the road like LB said. Braves have not faced him all year, and Giants will be able to get to Lowe early on. Will Braves be able to close this game out without Wagner if they even have the lead?
Plus, Fontenot has replaced Pablo, thankfully. Huff got his momentum back late in the game so he could be a factor against Lowe with Posey after him in the lineup. I just see Giants powering through this game. They give bumgarner the run support.Comment -

I think there's value on the Giants' side with a pretty decent plus number. Bumgarner has been terrific lately. Lowe is tough, no doubt, but the Giants did get a few hits off him in Game 1. He's on three days rest. I don't think he goes past the fifth or sixth, maybe not even that much. The Giants, statistically at least, have the better bullpen, even when the Braves have their closer. Now they have no experienced closer. There's trouble in the Braves' infield. The Braves' defense has been shaky. Maybe a position shuffle tonight. Finally -- and this is just from my gut -- I think the Giants' offense is going to wake up before this series ends. But baseball is tough. You never know.Comment -
its tought but i'd stay away from the braves, bumgarner is very good and he can shut down a suspect braves offense just as easily as lowe shuts down the giants. and although lowe pitched good in game 1, he is at the end of his career and he hasn't been the same this year and every start you don't know what your gonna get. the braves are coming off a very tough loss last night too so they could be out of it mentally. i do like the under as the best bet.Comment -

Bumgarner was one of the best underdog pitchers in the MLB. It's no coincidence that Giants are 8-2 in Bumgarner's last 10 starts as an underdog. I'm not saying the Giants will win but I don't see any value with the Braves here.Comment -
