Glausy at third tonight, not a huge upgrade, but better than Brooksy.

I feel terrible for the guy, tough thing to live with. Had no business being out there for the ninth though, everyone except for Bobby knew that.

He's not gonna be out of baseball any time soon, just won't see any time in the field for a while, as he shouldn't.

Very valuable bat off the bench and great clubhouse/all around guy. Couldn't have happened to a better person.

I didn't read the entire thread...

I'll say this: The Braves would not have made the playoffs without some of the heroic HR's the Conrad hit this season.

As John Fox said after Jake Delhomme threw 5 or 6 Int's against the Cardinals in a playoff game a couple of years ago..."He picked a bad day to have a bad day".

Cox screwed up too in the 9th. He had his RH pitcher Kimbrel retiring 2 Giants and he replaced him with Moylan who is also RH pitcher and a groundout specialist while leaving Conrad at 2B who is his worst fielding infielder. Why take out the strikeout pitcher and put in the groundout pitcher with suspect infield fielding?

Couldn't agree more with both points, I won't miss Bobby's decisions like this when he's gone. One of the main reasons why I sympathize with Brooks, is because had no business being out there. He's a poor fielder, and that's become a known fact, why leave him in there?
