No, Oswalt is dominant against Cincy. He lost a couple to them I believe this year with the Astros but they had no offense. I believe his overall record against them is 23-3.

Oswalt is pitching great, no reason to go against him imo.

arroyo is serious business and i dont think its out of the question for the reds to give him a couple runs of support today. +170s worth a little shot i think.

Arroyo is 1-5 with an era of 5.54 in eight career starts against Philly. I think Philly goes up 2-0 in this series.

I just don't think the Reds have a chance against Oswalt. Oswalt is really good. They will be lucky to score 2 runs against him.

Bronson Arroyo is a mediocre at best pitcher, while Oswalt is an ace in his own right. After Wednesday's dominating performance by Halliday, the Phillies know they can't waste that and lose home field. Cinci was like 20-34 vs. teams with winning records this season, regardless of how good their hitting might be.

I mean, its baseball, where pretty much every game is a coin flip, but you have to believe that Philly will do everything in its power to win this game.

Oswalt vs Arroyo. Just take the better pitcher simply. The Phillies have been unbeatable at home in the playoffs

Arroyo has been the reds ace all season. He should of clearly had the nod in game 1

In July, the Reds got to Oswalt pretty good. They scored 6 runs on him in just 5 innings---including 10 hits.

But. Oswalt seems to be a different pitcher with Philly. He has been dominant.

If the Reds won this game, I wouldn't be shocked. But I just don't see it happening.

This series should be a clean sweep for the phillies. Oswalt I believe is undefeated pitching in philly as well.

I could be undefeated pitching in Philly for a month or two.

Oswalt lost his Phillies debut against the Nats, but other than that, he has been nothing but stellar. I think Roy O. will be extremely motivated to put on a clinic after he sat in the dugout and watched Halladay throw his no-no. Phillies top three pitchers are so competitive and feed off each other which only makes them better. That's why they've been so good. I could easily see Oswalt go out and throw a 2-3 hitter in 8 innings just to try and match Halladay's feat.
