Significant shakeups on both sides. Tampa probably wants to see a righty, so they can get Pena, Jaso and Joyce in the game. But with only one lefty (Crawford) Tampa has really neutralized CJ's dominance of left handed hitters.

Texas lineup is powerful no matter who is playing, but honestly not sure , I hate benji but after a 3-4 game you sit him, I guess he can not hit shields very good

I love the fact that Madden inserted Aybar in over Pena today. Aybar has had some success against Wilson in the past as well.
I can't understand why Texas brought Traenor in, and sat Molina. Maybe CJ has thrown to Treanor more this year and feels comfortable?? Not sure, because they lose some both offensively and defensively.

I actually think Tampa looks better. Against lefties, I would much prefer to have Aybar in instead of Pena.
I also like the insertion of Jennings over Rocco. A young kid, who might be too amped up to even realize the playoff pressure. The kid can run too.

I could have sworn I read somewhere that Aybar was left off the ALDS roster?

Correct - Rays petitioned for an injury addition and added Aybar while removing Baldelli due to "injury"

Gotcha....I guess I'm not going crazy then. But then again, if the Rays lose again today, then I will be back on board.

I think Baldelli needs to retire. With his fatigue problems, he just isn't very valuable.

the game is all about little game james. if sheilds shows up like he has always done in the past at home in big games the rays will win this game period.

This game is about matchups guys. Pena sitting is a huge lift to Tampa

Since I have money on Tampa....I would enjoy it if they at least showed a glimmer, a spark, something that shows they are interested.....because right now this is absolutely awful.

Watching teams play this way when your backing them isn't even fun....its downright depressing.
Could Upton....Crawford.....Longoria.....ANYBO DY, show me why you finished ahead of the Yanks and BoSox.
