Roy Halliday has made his case for future hall of famer. I hope everyone bet on the Phillies as I did.
As a loyal Blue Jays, fan I wish nothing but success for our long time ace. If there's anyone south of the border who still hadn't realized just how great Roy Halliday is, he just proved it tonight!

For those of us who missed Don Larsen (or don't know who he is) we got to see real baseball history today. It was a pleasure to watch.

I remember listening to some of Larsen's gem in school when I was 11 years old. Back then, all World Series games was played in the afternoon and I remember many of the teachers ;at least in the schools I went to; would have the game on the radio for a while for their class could listen while doing some work that didn't require much concentration.

Amazing playoff debut. I wonder if that makes my autographed Halladay jersey from Toronto appreciate in value...

Hamels, Halladay, and Oswalt all compete with each other. Wouldn't be surprised if they try and one up each other.

After he got that RBI hit with 2 outs in the 2nd inning, I thought "perfect game, no-hitter, or complete game shutout."

Oswalt will also pitch a no hitter against the Reds
