Number is off. This series is just another piece in getting us to the inevitable Rays-Yanks ALCS. Texas can't win this series because they struggle on the road. The Rays pitching has been on fire and I think they will get just enough runs to grab the series.
Yankees to win Series -190 (2x)
Yanks own the Twins in the postseason. No reason that trend doesn't continue. CC is money and with Pettite and Hughes backing him up the Yankees should get decent pitching. Don't think they are scared of Pavano and Liriano. They get to see CC win Game 1 and then come back to New York with 2 wins there closing it out. I think they have enough hitting, pitching, and Mariano to get it done.

Rays play good ball at home while Texas struggles big time on the road. Should be interesting series to watch once it goes back to Texas but for now the Rays should get it done. Rays unders have been on fire and with Price at home you know he is going to be super tough on opponents. Cliff Lee pitches well anywhere but I think the Rays will find a way to scratch a few runs out of Lee. Rays win 3-1.

Phillies hot, Halladay finally in postseason, expect him to cherish it. He will throw his heart out. Volquez hasn't been struggling for years to try to make it here. Reds aren't as good away from home and Philly should set the tone for the series with a win in front of a wild crowd.

Liriano has been getting rocked lately and it won't get any easier against the Yankees. CC hasn't been exactly unhittable but he is still able to turn in quality starts. The Yankees went 10-0 against the Twins last year including a 3-0 sweep in the post-season. This year they are 4-2 against them. I think the Yankees start things off with a good win here. Yanks win 6-3.
