My opinion on game one is Price will win it in 5 and 9 as more Consistent of a starter,,,but lets hear it brothers,,,,,,,,,

ST. PETERSBURG -- Perception says the window of opportunity is closing for this collection of Tampa Bay Rays.

Principal owner Stuart Sternberg is a businessman, and he says the Rays have stretched their payroll to the limit. Thus, an adjustment needs to be made, which means there will be a payroll reduction in 2011. So the likelihood of favorites such as Carl Crawford, Carlos Pena and Rafael Soriano being back with the team seems unlikely.

For Rays players, answering that question must wait for another day. James Shields, who will be the Game 2 starter in the American League Division Series against the Rangers, said a team can't look at what's going on outside the playing field.

"You look at all of that stuff and you'll drive yourself crazy," Shields said. "We know we have a good team. We don't know what might happen next year. So we want to win while we can
