Definitely great value here. I am very surprised at this number. Like you said, the Yanks rotation is in shambles, and they are definitely playing uninspired. This will be a very good series that will probably come down to a toss up 5th game, so definitely worth a shot at this price. It almost seemed like the Yanks were trying to get the Wild card to avoid Cliff Lee??? Who knows, but they have definitely looked off lately.

It could go either way, but you gotta like CC against a heavy left-handed line up. I can see Pavano taking a game, he pitches well against the yanks. I really think yanks take game one though, and that game one is so crucial.

it's good price, but...

rays have price for yanks,
rangers have lee for yanks,
twins? pavano, blackburn, duensing, liriano are all hittable for yanks...

If I dare to take twins, that means I will hope for hard luck that twins defense can do it again like in regular season, good damage control from bases loaded, RISP that often resulting in DP.

The Twins starting pitching is questionable, but the Yankees haven't played great ball down the stretch, and the Twins having home field, you have to love the +149.

It's a good price, Yankees #1 and 2 starters and lefties and Twins has been the best team in the season along with Florida and Padres on hitting those. Pettitte isn't look good also. I think Yankees take game 1 and lose the 2nd.

A week or two I would have agreed with you, now they look pretty flat. I don't think they have the pitching to do it.

I'm gonna chase bet games 1 and 2. I'm pretty sure minny will get at least 1 at home so I'll take em in game 1 and double up if they lose cause for sure they should get the second one. GL.

Yes the yanks have owned the twins but the yanks are known as post season chokers pretty much every year except last year out of the last several years. The twins will give the yanks lots of problems.

TBH, neither team's pitching is great. I think Yankees will still take the series in 5. I also expect the Over to cash in at least 4 of the 5 games.

Right on perception.

Yanks bat .256 on the road while twins bat .282 at home. Minny also bats .265 on the road and that will be better at a hitter friendly park like the yanks have. I am a yanks fan and even i know that Minny is the better overall team. The yanks are a big name. Thats all. The yanks always have a hard time in these div series and i believe minny will break thru this year. Beyond CC the yanks rotation is worthless. The public perception is that the twins are slumping right now but that is why they are a great play on the series and definitely at home. You just dont bet against the Twins in Minny.

There is alot of truth in this. The Twins know the Yankees own them. When the Yankees scored their 1st run and still trailed, the crowd was dead quiet because they were scared and knew what was going to happen
