If you guys don't think the Giants have a huge payroll AND underachieve, I'll put you to shame.

Giants have the 10th highest payroll (behind teams like the Mets, Mariners, and Cubs) and finished with the 2nd best record in the NL. How exactly did they underachieve?

are you telling me a team that the starting lineup costs around 60 millions hasn't overachieved this year with the great pitching/bullpen?
If the lineup played 50% of what they are paid, Giants would have 100 wins. hell they almost didn't make the playoffs.

did gardner, swisher and cano?
they makeup for it.
No giants' player was even close on having a 30/100 season, yankees had 2 and 2 very close to it.

Not sure where you're getting your numbers, but today's starting lineup doesn't even make $30 million.

Huff is the 3rd hitter on giants' lineup guy. swisher hits 6th on yanks
giants' best hitter would be hitting 7th on yanks. and I don't even know why you brought yankees up anyway. al is way better than the nl and everyone knows it.

so was huff close to a 30/100 season?
yankees only came up because its easy for people who support the best teams to bag other teams dont you think?
either way i think the giants take care of the braves but i wont be tuning in to watch the games
