Giants have the 10th highest payroll (behind teams like the Mets, Mariners, and Cubs) and finished with the 2nd best record in the NL. How exactly did they underachieve?

are you telling me a team that the starting lineup costs around 60 millions hasn't overachieved this year with the great pitching/bullpen?

If the lineup played 50% of what they are paid, Giants would have 100 wins. hell they almost didn't make the playoffs.

Not sure where you're getting your numbers, but today's starting lineup doesn't even make $30 million.

Huff is the 3rd hitter on giants' lineup guy. swisher hits 6th on yanks

giants' best hitter would be hitting 7th on yanks. and I don't even know why you brought yankees up anyway. al is way better than the nl and everyone knows it.
