History had that the Giants couldn't get more than 2 runs at Home against the Padres. Guess that streak is over after adding lots of Vets to the roster.

Considering the way the Padres have played over the last month, if they somehow get through this series and get into the playoffs, the Giants will be categorized among the biggest chokers we can remember. Certainly there's the possibility for some excitement over the next few days.

I like the Giants today. The Padres had one good game last night after about 6 or 7 terrible games. The Padres simply do not have the offensive fire power. Giants and Braves clinch today with the Padres loss.
