it doesn't really matter to me, whoever makes the playoffs will bow out after the first round anyways. Its just a joke SD couldn't hold that big of a lead, but when you have no pitching it is tough to win the games that matter.

If SD wins last 2 and Atlanta losses last 2, SD and SF are tied for division and Atlanta is one game back for WC. In this scenario, I don't think there's a one game playoff I'm pretty sure it goes to a tie-breaker. One game playoff only if WC is from another division if 2 teams are tied in the same division. Anyone know who wins west under this scenario?

Believe it or not I think the giants best chance will be sunday against Latos.. he has been struggling for a while, he may have hit that proverbial wall being that this is his rookie year, he may have a "tired arm"

The fukkin Padres had to watch damn near half an hour of Giants history before the game yesterday.. I'm pretty sure that fired them up

Head to head is the first tiebreaker so Padres win the division if they are tied and Atlanta is a game back.

Padres win the division if they win on Sunday. If SF loses, they then have to hope the Phillies sweep the Braves. Or its a one game playoff with the Braves.
