I doubt the Phillies take the Braves out of the wild card spot. Padres don't have a chance against the Giants. Braves are 2 games up with 3 to play they are in son.

phils are gonna make it as hard as possible for the braves to lock up the wild card, no matter who is in there. i like the phils tonight but can see the braves winning later on in the series to wrap up the wild card.

If the Phillies play their regular starters then it will be tougher for the Braves to win but I don't see that happening until at least during the weekend.

Without starters it's going to be a lot tougher for the Phillies to win. Secondly... Kendrick hasn't been hot at all. I'm pulling this stat out of the air, but I'm pretty sure Kendrick is responsible for nearly all of the Phillies losses last month (-2 other games maybe. and i think Kendrick lost 3 or 4 games) Could be wrong on that second part.

Kendrick 4-1 vs Braves lifetime.

Manuel gave the reguars the day off on Wed so they have had 2 days in a row off. Manuel said on MLB radio that for the integrity of the game we owe it to all the teams chasing the wild card to play our best when playoff spots are on the line. Whether that was BS or not we will find out.

Phillies are 10-1 last 11 as underdogs.

worth a shot at +145-150 IMO

if phillies can sweep the braves. that will take them out of wildcard spot. this is the chance to take your division rival out of the playoffs. if they lay back this weekend it could haunt them down the road.
