Who do you look for to surprise in the post season?
Each year there are teams that pull upsets. Especially early on in the short 5 game series. As a Reds fan I would rather them play the Phillies in a 5 game series in round 1 versus playing them in round 2 but having to win 4 or 7. I still do not think that the Reds are likely to upset the Phils. In fact, it is hard for me to see any way the Phillies are not World Series bound.

In the AL, I think it is pretty wide open. I do not think that the Twins can win because their starting pitching is not strong enough. My upset pick would be the Rangers if they could find one other starter beside Lee. Wilson has had great games this year but has been struggling lately. He is the entire key to the Rangers post season in my opinion.

    What do you all think?

Rangers could be the AL sleeper.

When you can throw out Lincecum, Zito and Cain, you have a chance to do well and stay in every game. The Phillies are playing good baseball at the right time of the year, but I don't think they've an overwhelming favorite to win the NL.

Not a lot of people talking about the Giants. But if their bats actually do something else than popping out and striking out, they have a really good shot.

                    Great starters and solid pen.

Well it wont be the Padres.....they sh!t the bed in an embarassing way. 17 hits in 4 games to lackluster Cubs pitching.....OUCH.

The Padres weakness was glaring and eventually costed them a chance at playoff baseball.
