Talk Me Out of The Giants Thursday
    Try!

-SF 47-30 at home and in the midst of a great race with the Padres. They have won 8 of their last 10.
-Arizona a miserable 24-53 on the road with nothing to play for playing during the day in front of a big crowd.
-Arizon has lost 11 of their last 13 on the road.
-SF is 26-9 in the last 35 meetings between Ari and SF.
-Barry Enright has been awful lately. 0-4 in his last four starts allowing 19 runs in 20.2 innings.
-In 3 games against Enright the Giants are hitting .309 over 19 innings.
-Bumgarner has been great lately. In his last 5 starts he has gone 33 innings allowing just 4 runs.
-Bumgarner in two starts vs Arizona is 1-0 with a 1.26 ERA.

    Anything else?

the giants are crap. you never know if their offense is gonna show up and when it does, their pitching usually doesn't

Was thinking SF myself. Don't see anything telling me not to play them.

I like the Giants too and have been following this series pretty close. Made money on the RL last night...but it was a close one...probably should not have had. Also, I don't get the sense that AZ is taking it easy...to me they are playing as competitively as they can. It was all AZ until Pat "old timer" Burrell launched one. I know that Bumgarner's ERA is higher during day games...but am not sure when were the last day games that he pitched. Anyone know?
